What's a super-hero without a cape?
Right back to it on Thor with the cape. I base coated the cape with a Tamiya rattle can red, as my airbrush needed cleaning and was drying at the time. Just quick dusting passes until the color settled in.
After that, it was a quick afternoon of airbrushing. I mixed up a batch of 3 parts Tamiya red to 1 part Tamiya Hull Red to spray in the shadows, then a medium highlight with pure Tamiya red. A regular highlight with 3 parts Tamiya red to 1 part Tamiya orange, then one final extreme highlight with 3 parts orange to 1 part red. The iPhone pictures aren't going to pick up the color changes much because of the harsh lighting conditions, but it should photograph well with the DLSR once I get it out.
