This was my second Fine Molds kit to do, and quite a breeze to put together. First kit that I ever eschewed decals for masking and painting as well. While that is now my preferred method, there are still some instances I have to use decals as opposed to actual paint.
The diorama is admittedly taken from a reference kit I used by a user named "rossjr" over at finescale's forum. He had an excellent idea, and as I had (at this point) never done any of my own diorama work, I decided to try to mimic his with a little difference. I airbrushed some glass clear blue to create my lake at the bottom, but got a little heavy-handed and its not quite as reflective as I'd hoped.
